Kiddoh Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Kiddoh helps parents of young children find things to do: story times, classes, and playgrounds nearby, simple play ideas for home, and a community of parents with children the same age. This policy explains what we collect, why, who it's shared with, and the choices you have.

Kiddoh is operated by Philip Weltman ("Kiddoh", "we", "us"). Questions: privacy@heykiddoh.com.

The short version

Who Kiddoh is for

Kiddoh is for parents and caregivers aged 18 or older. Children don't create accounts or use Kiddoh. Parents choose what to tell us about their own children, as described below.

What we collect

Your account

About your child or children (entered by you)

About your home and preferences

What you do in Kiddoh

We don't collect contacts, photos, or precise location history, and we don't use advertising or third-party tracking tools.

How we use it

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help run Kiddoh, and only what each one needs:

Provider What it does What it receives
Supabase Hosts Kiddoh's database, accounts, and servers (in the United States) Everything Kiddoh stores, kept on our behalf
Anthropic Writes the "Ideas for home" suggestions using AI Your child's age in months, chosen interests, your space and preferences, the season, and today's weather conditions. Never names, your email, your ZIP code, or your location
National Weather Service Provides today's forecast The central point of your ZIP code area, with no account information
Resend Sends account emails Your email address and the email's content
Apple Distributes the app (App Store and TestFlight) What Apple collects under its own policies

When you tap Directions or View on organizer's site, Kiddoh opens Apple Maps or the organizer's website. What you do there is covered by their privacy policies, not ours.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect someone's safety. If Kiddoh is ever transferred to a new owner, this policy would continue to apply to information collected under it, and we'd tell you before anything changed.

What other parents can see

In Community, members of your group see your display name, your posts and replies, and when you posted. They don't see your email, your child's nickname or birthday, your ZIP code, or anything else from your profile. Groups are visible only to their members. Please don't share your child's full name, photos, school, or your address in posts.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account (Profile → Delete account), we delete your profile, children's details, settings, saved items, idea history, group memberships, posts and replies, blocks, reports you made, and feedback.

We keep two kinds of anonymous records after deletion, with your account link removed: AI cost records (used to track our spending) and usage counts. These contain no personal details, and we delete them after 2 years at most.

Backups held by our hosting provider may keep deleted data for a short period before it's overwritten.

Your choices and rights

We'll respond to requests within 30 days.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit. Each parent's information is protected by access rules in our database, so parents can see only their own details and their own groups, and these rules are tested automatically. Private keys stay on our servers, never in the app. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
